Why Local Browser Tools Beat Random Upload Converters

Privacy, speed, and trust: why MySpeedTest.in runs PDF and image tools in your browser instead of uploading files to the cloud.

Upload means someone else’s computer

When a website says “upload your PDF,” the bytes leave your device. Even short retention policies do not erase the fact that a third party could read, log, or breach that data.

Local tools use your CPU/GPU in the tab you already opened. We still show ads to keep the site free, but conversion does not require a file upload API.

Same domain as the speed lab

MySpeedTest.in started as an India-focused speed and gaming ping lab using Cloudflare CDN tests. Tools extend that trust model: useful utilities, clear privacy language, and no account wall.

What we still collect (and what we don’t)

Speed tests may use IP/ISP lookup to show your network label. Tool files are not uploaded for conversion. Read the Privacy Policy for full detail — and note the privacy page itself stays ad-free.
